Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and team members. You will support comfort, dignity, and well-being through thorough cleaning and respectful service.

Core duties include sanitizing rooms and common areas, following infection control protocols, and assisting with laundry as needed. A high school diploma and reliability are required; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare or senior living experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation and infection control.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Positive attitude and customer service mindset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Perform daily tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in organized, safe condition.
• Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Assist with laundry services as needed.
• Provide friendly, respectful service to residents and guests.
