Overview

At FutureCare, our Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring that the facility and resident areas are kept clean and sanitized, meeting all standards set forth for the Environmental Services department. They perform daily rounds to provide the highest quality of service for a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our residents and staff.

Salary

• Competitive Pay $15.70 - $17.50/hr***

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately. Offers will consider such factors as overall experience, job-related qualifications, location, certifications/training, etc.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas as assigned daily, following sanitary procedures and instructions
• Promptly report all maintenance issues/concerns at the time of observation
• Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures to ensure sanitary conditions
• Maintain facility equipment, carts, and work areas in a clean state
• Perform inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the manager of any supply needs
• Follow regulations from all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Abide by the standards in FutureCare's Statement of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Plan

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility
• Experience with commercial cleaning agents/chemicals is a plus
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Polite and courteous demeanor towards residents and staff
• Ability to multi-task and work flexible shifts
• Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, walk, and lift at least 50 pounds
