Job summary

ANGC (Augusta National Golf Club) is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to maintain member and guest accommodations and all public areas within the Clubhouse and Administration. You will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and aesthetics while maintaining confidentiality of Club business.

Key duties include stocking supplies, cleaning spaces, changing linens, daily maintenance checks, and assisting with maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years housekeeping experience, preferably in a club, hotel, or institutional environment; or
• Previous experience working in Housekeeping Department at ANGC
• High school degree or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Requisitions and stock supplies as needed in each accommodation or building. Reports supply shortages to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Cleans and sanitizes office spaces, reception areas, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Strips and remakes beds with fresh linens.
• Empties all waste baskets and ashtrays, vacuums, and tidies guest rooms.
• Wipes all windowsills and light switches; dust all furniture.
• Wipes all mirrors and checks windows daily.
• Reports any problems to the Housekeeping Manager after checking heating/AC and general maintenance.
• Cleans and sanitizes toilets, showers, tubs, lavatories, and fixtures.
• Cleans walls, baseboards and floors as needed and when preparing for a new guest.
• Replenishes towels, wash cloths, soap, glasses, and other amenities per set levels.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Checks heating, air conditioning and general maintenance of assigned area daily . Reports any problems to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Cleans and sanitizes toilets, showers, tubs, lavatories, and fixtures .
• Cleans walls, baseboards and floors as needed and when preparing for a new guest in the accommodation.
• Replenishes towels, wash cloths, soap, glasses, and other amenities per set levels .

Physical Demands

• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
• Constantly required to walk and work with hands and fingers , lift up to 40 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
• Constantly required to stand and walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach with hands and arms.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an important part of the job
• Submits maintenance requests to Housekeeping Manager or Service Support Assistant in a timely manner.
• Complete Service Support Assistant duties if necessary.

Qualifications :

• Ability to communicate in an effective manner in order to make members and guests feel welcome
• Relative Experience/Education:
• 0 - 2 years ' housekeeping experience, preferably in a club, hote l, or institutional environment; or
• Previous experience working in Housekeeping Department at ANGC
• High school degree or equivalent required

Required License(s):

• Possess a valid driver's license and/or successfully completes the Club's internal motor vehicle training program

Projected Work Schedule:

• Must be available for a varying work schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required .
