Job summary

ExcelCare At the Pines is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Aide to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for residents and staff. You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces while following infection control and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently or with a team, and committed to creating a comfortable environment for everyone in our care.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility
• Collect and take out trash to designated disposal areas
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas
• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed
• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests
• Assist with room turnovers and deep cleaning as assigned
