What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Support the design and implementation of multiple MICS surveys in various regions
  • Provide technical support for the finalization and updating of MICS7 survey tools
  • Contribute to the acquisition of GIS data and oversee the anonymization and dissemination of surveys
  • Facilitate and document workshops on MICS Survey Design, Data Processing, and Data Interpretation
  • Assist in drafting reports and documentation related to survey outcomes and methodologies
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Advanced University degree in Social Sciences, Demography, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing and managing global household survey programs
  • Proven experience in standard tool development for household surveys
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPSS, and familiarity with R, Python, and GitHub
  • Native or near-native proficiency in English, with knowledge of another UN language being an asset
