Sage-Haus is seeking a House Manager and Family Assistant in Cape Elizabeth, ME to oversee daily home operations, meal prep, and childcare support for a busy family. The role combines organization, project coordination, and proactive problem-solving to create a calm, well-run home.

The position is full-time, 35–40 hours per week with a guaranteed 35 hours, Monday–Friday, plus occasional evenings for date nights and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Reliable personal vehicle; mileage reimbursed for work-related errands
• Vaccination compliance per CDC/AAP guidelines (including COVID-19 and flu) subject to legal accommodations

Responsibilities

• Provide back up support for school pickups, drop-offs, and childcare
• Date night and evening coverage approximately once per week
• Perform daily backpack reset including unpacking, lunch box washing, and packing for the following morning
• Handle kid-related errands
• Create and maintain household organization systems
• Manage household resets, tidying, and weekly fridge cleanout; assist with compost, trash, and recycling
• Support packing/unpacking for family travel and events
• Oversee home during travel and coordinate cleaners/contractors as needed
• Plan and prep healthy snacks and dinners daily with weekly grocery planning
• Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies
• Coordinate and manage household appointments and events as needed
• Launder and rotate linens; maintain laundry area
• Schedule routine vehicle maintenance and track registrations
