Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking caring Household Assistants to join our Small House neighborhoods where elders live in a home-like setting. You will help with cooking, laundry and housekeeping, while promoting dignity and individual choices for each resident.

This team-focused role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits. Pay starts at $15.00 per hour, with both full-time and part-time options based on experience.

Qualifications

• Certification: No certification required.
• Education: High school degree or GED; must be of legal working age.
• Experience: Preferred elder care or light housekeeping experience; not required.

Responsabilités

• Plan meals according to dietary needs or preferences.
• Assist elders with meal planning, preparation and serving.
• Perform light cooking, cleaning, laundry and housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare and set up meals, ensure food safety and record temperatures.
• Assist with laundry and maintain resident rooms and closets.
