Job Summary and Qualifications

The Supervisor Behavioral Health Nursing will be responsible for coordinating the other House Supervisors schedules, staying compliant with HBIBS and activities related to House Supervisor requirements as well as regulatory requirements and home medication management. The Supervisor Behavioral Health Nursing, based out of Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus, will be an experienced, competent nursing professional who will also make rounds to provide clinical support, and help appropriately staff the hospital based on acuity and censuses.

What you will be doing in this role:
  • Manages schedules for Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus House Supervisors
  • Facilitates and coordinates the meeting of regulatory requirements for House Supervisors
  • Manages schedules for Safety Attendants
  • Monitors staff competency as related to age of the patient
  • Facilitates employees’ annual as well as 30 and 90 day evaluation process
  • Completes and submits employee evaluations on time
  • Follows Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus Human Resources policy from employee disciplinary action
  • Maintains open communication with staff to facilitate operations within the program.
  • Responsible for staff staying compliant with HBIPS
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree
