Full-Time Nights

Varied Weekday & Weekend Shifts. This position works in our Village Care Center (long term care, memory care & rehab residents). Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) that has an active license to practice in Missouri.

Job Summary

House Supervisor provides administrative and clinical oversight and leadership through all Nursing and Service Departments of the Village Care Center. Supports the Village’s mission, values, and service/hospitality (PRIDE) expectations. Completes training hours as required by policy.

Essential Job Functions
  • Ensures resident clinical & lifestyle care outcomes meet VCC and industry standards.
  • Performs clinical rounds & observations, consulting with staff on clinical and operational issues.
  • Provides clinical care oversight and management for healthcare changes in resident status, including direct responsibility for care management.
  • Works closely with Administrative Nursing to maintain adequate staffing levels.
  • Provides staff education on effective nursing care practices.
  • Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations in collaboration with RN manager and Director of Nursing.
  • Completes required documentation of nursing care accurately and timely.
  • Attends resident and family council meetings.
  • Meets with new residents and their families on admission to review care plans.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and maintains workplace conduct standards.

The above responsibilities are primary; other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Active RN or LPN license in Missouri.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with healthcare databases and clinical practices related to geriatrics and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor environment, exposure to infectious diseases, working around individuals with mental challenges.
  • Emergency assistance may be required.
Physical & Mental Demands
  • Lift up to 75 lbs, carry, push/pull, and perform physical tasks as specified.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and fine motor activities.
Supervision

Reports to the Director of Nursing. Supervises all VCC staff on shift.
