Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced RN to lead total patient care on your assigned shift as Charge Nurse.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, adherence to evidence-based pathways, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, quality care and efficient operations in a high-volume hospital.

Requirements include BSN, 5 years of clinical nursing, 1 year as Charge RN, Nevada RN license, BLS and ACLS, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing; BSN required.
• Five years clinical experience and one year Charge RN.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada; BLS and ACLS.

Job Description:

Responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of total patient care services during his/her assigned shift.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN required.

Experience:

Five (5) years clinical experience and One (1) year Charge RN.

Technical Skills:

Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database.

License/Certifications:

BLS and ACLS. Current RN license in the State of Nevada.

Other:

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patient.
