Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in TX required at hire.
• CPR required within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction during each shift.

• Conduct frequent rounds to monitor patient care and respond to issues promptly.

• Support the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Department(s) and assesses areas of personal and professional growth.
• Conducts all aspects of supervision in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.
• Makes frequent rounds to monitor and ensure delivery of safe and quality care in all nursing units.
• Demonstrates an ability to identify and resolve problems, uses initiative and good judgment to reach quality decisions.
