South Texas Health System in McAllen, TX is seeking an Administrative RN supervisor to lead nursing staff when administration is not present.
You will interact with hospital staff and ancillary departments to address patient care concerns and conflicts, and guide performance while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The role requires weekend/evening/night shifts, overtime, and on-call status.
POSITION SUMMARY: Administrative representative for the organization when administration is not present. The RN supervisor shall oversee and guide nursing employees that are under their supervision. Responsible for interacting with hospital staff and or ancillary departments regarding patient care, concerns, and conflicts by identifying and assisting in the resolutions. Responsible and accountable for maintaining performance skills. Routinely works weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and/or on an on-call/call-back status.
