Cayuga Health is seeking a House Supervisor to oversee nursing care across clinical areas on a per diem, flexible basis in New York. The role emphasizes leadership, staffing, and rapid decision-making to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and collaboration with physicians and managers.
This onsite position requires a New York State Registered Nurse license, a Baccalaureate degree preferred, and leadership experience. Per diem hours and competitive compensation are offered.

House Supervisors are accountable for care delivered in several clinical areas on a given assigned shift. House Supervisors advocate for and allocate available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate care based on current standards of practice.
House Supervisors are clinical mentors and provide key clinical and administrative support and decision making in the absence of the Department Managers. House Supervisors promote shared decision making and professional autonomy by providing input to Nurse Managers, Department Directors and Executives by keeping staff informed of executive level and organization activities and vice versa. House Supervisors are role models for clinical practice. House Supervisors are accountable for fostering an environment that continuously supports improved patient outcomes.
