Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health NP/PA to join a growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This 100% outpatient role involves prenatal care, obstetric support, and comprehensive exams using Epic EMR.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no after-hours call. Competitive base salary plus incentive plan and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of Obstetrics experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR highly preferred
• California NP or PA licensure
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as NP or PA
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• NPI and DEA
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon)
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all pregnancy stages
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

*The salary range above is an estimated annual base salary for a full-time position. Your Total Rewards would include a base salary plus performance-based incentives and other valuable benefits. Our compensation models utilize fair market value data specific to your specialty.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
