Job summary

American Advanced Management Inc. is seeking an experienced House Supervisor, Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care across ICU, infusion areas, and PACU with a focus on staffing and coverage. The RN will participate in admissions, discharges, and outpatient services as directed by the CNO or designee.

The role requires California RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of critical care experience, with demonstrated competency in PACU recovery and hemodynamic monitoring.

Qualifications

• California Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Staff for ICU and other units including fifth patient in ICU and PACU recovery.
• Assist with admissions and discharges and outpatient duties.
• Support coverage for PICC line procedures if certified and assist PICC nurse as needed.

Job Summary

A House Supervisor, Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care in a variety of needs and situations including but not limited to: staffing for the fifth patient in the ICU, Out Patient Infusions, procedural sedations, insertion of PICC lines ( if certified) or coverage to relieve PICC nurse to insert PICC line, assist with sick call coverage when unable to cover with staff from department, recovery for PACU patients, lunch relief throughout the nursing units (when all other resources have been exhausted),. Assistance with admissions and discharges and Out Patients as well as and other duties as per the discretion of the CNO or designee.

Education, Training And Licenses Required

• California Registered Nurse License
• BLS and ACLS Certifications

Experience Required

• 1 year previous Critical Care training required.
• Must be competent to recover PACU patients.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Competent/knowledgeable ACLS procedures, cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring.

Equipment Knowledge Required

Hemodynamic monitors, cardiac monitors, pacemakers, defibrillators, IV Skills, doppler, NIBP, oximetry. Competency with the electronic documentation system must be obtained within 30 days of hire with full proficiency by 90 days of hire.
