Job summary

SEAFIELD SERVICES INC. is seeking a live-in residence manager to oversee operations of recovery homes in Medford, NY. You will help maximize occupancy and ensure residents follow house rules.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating activities, monitoring attendance at treatment, conducting inventory, and ensuring a clean, orderly residence. Previous CRPA credentials preferred; one year of house management experience is desired. This is a live-in role with room and board included.

Qualifications

• CRPA, CRPA-P, or CRPA Eligible preferred.
• Minimum one-year house management experience.
• Familiarity with twelve-step program and counseling background.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing operations of Seafield’s Recovery Homes to maximize occupancy.
• Assign user role access to information systems as applicable.
• Initiate resident housing applications and manage daily schedule.
• Oversee resident participation in required house activities.
• Supervise resident departures and arrivals for outpatient treatment.
• Oversee operation of the client government.
• Maintain daily contact with Executive Director to report developments.
• Ensure weekend passes are countersigned and residents' locations tracked.
• Know where each resident is expected to be at all times.
• Complete inventory of supplies.
• Conduct urinalysis screening after weekend passes.
• Keep residence clean and orderly and encourage respect.

$100 weekly plus room and board (live on premises)

MAIN FUNCTION:

- To assist with overseeing the operations of Seafield’s Recovery Homes and to assure that each house maintains maximum occupancy.

-User role(s) information systems access as assigned, where applicable

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will initiate process whereby resident makes application for housing and food substance.
• Establish the daily schedule for residence.
• Oversee resident’s participation in required house activities.
• Supervise either directly, or through subordinates, resident’s timely departure and arrival for treatment at an outpatient facility.
• Oversee the operation of the client government.
• Maintain daily contact with Executive Director or designee, to apprise of developments, which properly should be called to their attention.
• Regarding weekend visitation – Ascertains that resident has pass appropriately countersigned by Executive Director or designee.
• At all times, will know where each resident is expected to be, i.e. at treatment, free time and follow-up appointment.
• Will complete inventory of supplies.
• Either directly through subordinate will conduct urinalysis screening upon resident’s return from a weekend pass.
• Assures that residence is kept in a clean and orderly fashion. Encourage residents to respect the facility.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
