For 35 years, Global Arts Live has been a leading force in bringing exceptional global music and dance to stages across Greater Boston. In Fall 2026, Global Arts Live will launch The Platform, a new performing arts center, in partnership with real estate developer BioMed Realty. Located in Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA, The Platform is part of the 585 Kendall Street building, which will also function as the new R&D headquarters for global pharmaceutical company Takeda.
The Platform features the 400+seat state-of-the-art Takeda Theater at The Platform, the Tempo Stage at The Platform with flexible seating for 125 anchoring the first-floor commons, two bars, a café, and a rehearsal studio. The Platform is dedicated to supporting artists and nonprofits, work that expands our perspectives, and providing a hub for culture, connection, and conversation.
Global Arts Live + The Platform are seeking a House Manager to play a key role in the management and operations of the Audience Services department. Reporting to the Director of Audience Services, the House Manager will oversee all front-of-house activities at The Platform. This position will collaborate with box office staff all events at The Platform, to ensure a welcoming and seamless experience for all patrons.

During the performance season (September–June), this position will be scheduled based on the performance calendar, including regular Monday–Friday office hours for administrative tasks.
This is a full-time, exempt position with an annual salary of $60,000. Benefits include health, dental, disability and life insurance; SIMPLE Cafeteria flexible spending account; paid vacation, sick, and personal days; and 10 paid holidays.
