Job summary

Greek Housing Management is seeking a live-in House Director to oversee property operations, emergency coordination, and residents’ life on campus-style housing. You will manage inspections, safety compliance, and vendor coordination while serving as the primary liaison among residents, staff, and governance bodies.

Role requires strong communication, reliability, and willingness to live on-site year-round, with a 12-month commitment and the ability to respond 24/7 for emergencies and events.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily property inspections using Revela (min 4x/week) with photos/video.
• Maintain asset tagging to inventory furnishings and equipment.
• Audit rooms for fire code compliance and asset accountability.
• Schedule and track annual inspections, permits, and maintenance for safety.
• Log issues, coordinate vendors, and verify completion before payment.
• Respond to maintenance requests in real time via Revela.
• Oversee capital improvement projects on-site.
• Serve as primary contact for first responders and remediation crews.
• Develop and update the site's Emergency Action Plan.
• Supervise culinary and janitorial staff and manage meal plan operations.
• Serve as on-site liaison between residents and leadership.
• Coordinate with law enforcement when needed, including camera footage requests.
• Own the move-in/move-out process and Revela inspections within 48 hours.
• Administer access control and security systems.
• Weekly 1-on-1s with Asset Manager; annual on-site training.

Job description

This is more than a property mangement it's a chance to make a real difference in young men's college experience. Greek Housing Management operate chapter house facilities to our E.L.I.T.E. standard, and our House Directors are the eyes, ears, and boots on the ground who make that happen. The role combines property management, mentorship, and emergency response in a setting where no two days look the same.

What You'll Do

Property Operations & Inspections

• Complete daily property inspections via our Revela property management platform (minimum 4x/week), including photos and video documentation
• Maintain the Asset Tagging System to inventory all furnishings and equipment
• Audit rooms periodically for fire code compliance and asset accountability
• Schedule and track annual inspections, permits, and preventative maintenance for fire safety, kitchen equipment, and operating licenses
• Own the maintenance process from start to finish — log issues, coordinate vendors, verify completion before payment is released
• Respond to member-submitted maintenance requests in real time via Revela
• Oversee capital improvement projects on-site

Emergency Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for first responders and remediation crews during emergencies
• Develop and annually update the site's Emergency Action Plan

People & Communications

• Supervise culinary and janitorial staff; monitor cleanliness and make staffing adjustments as needed
• Work with the food service provider to manage meal plan operations and accommodate member food allergies (with strict confidentiality)
• Serve as the on-site liaison between residents, Chapter Officers, Chapter Advisors, House Corporation Members, SAE FSC Staff, and GHM
• Coordinate with law enforcement when needed, including camera footage requests

Check-In/Check-Out

• Own the entire member move-in/move-out process, including paperwork, key distribution, and Revela inspections within 48 hours of move-out
• Administer the access control and security systems
• Weekly 45-minute 1-on-1s with your Asset Manager
• Mandatory team calls and in-person House Director training annually in July

What We're Looking For

• Comfort learning new technology platforms (we'll train you on Revela)
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to deliver sensitive messages with tact
• Self-starter who can elevate concerns appropriately and exercise sound judgment
• Customer-service mindset with the ability to set and enforce expectations professionally
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk extended distances (sometimes 2+ miles per day)
• Willing to live on the premises year-round and remain available 24/7 (or within a short drive) for emergencies and evening/weekend events
• Available to commit to a full 12-month/52-week term
• Prior property management, hospitality, residence life, or military experience a plus
• Brings structure and discipline to the chapter house establishing routines, holding members accountable to House Rules, and modeling the consistency a successful chapter operation depends on.
