Job summary

The King’s Daughters’ School in Tennessee seeks a dedicated care assistant to provide direct care and behavioral support to students with developmental disabilities. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Responsibilities include implementing and documenting behavior plans, observing and redirecting challenging behaviors, supporting daily living activities, and helping students participate in community activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Able to pass drug screen and background checks.
  • Experience managing challenging behaviors preferred; training available.
  • RBT certification preferred.
  • TB skin test and work physical may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care and behavioral support to students with developmental disabilities.

  • Promote independence and skill development; build positive relationships.
