Job description

The Wayfarer DTLA is seeking a dynamic House Attendant to join our team! The House Attendant will be responsible for cleaning all public and common areas of the hotel and assisting with housekeeping duties.

Located in downtown Los Angeles at the corner of South Flower and 8th Street, The Wayfarer DTLA offers a unique experience with diverse food & beverage options, including a rooftop bar, and a vibrant event and activation program. Our hotel features a fun, lifestyle-oriented, and irreverent atmosphere designed to elevate the guest experience through flexible public spaces, local art, and interactive features that encourage exploration.

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to guests.
• Effectively communicating with guests and team members.
• Cleaning grounds, including trash and cigarette butts.
• Managing laundry and trash removal for housekeepers.
• Cleaning lobby, windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, and vending machines.
• Maintaining cleanliness of dumpster areas, exterior fixtures, benches, and guest room doors.
• Shampooing carpets and turning mattresses as assigned.
• Cleaning guestroom sliding doors.
• Reporting missing articles or damages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assisting maintenance with basic repairs.
• Supporting other departments and team members to ensure overall performance.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Salary Range: $22.50 - $23.00 per hour.
