Job description

The House Attendant responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel. Responsibilities might include (as dictated by hotel vertical): deep cleaning of assigned areas, setting up and maintaining complimentary hotel lobby functions including coffee service and nightly concierge events, cleaning and setting up meeting room functions, delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk, and driving shuttle van when needed (property specific).

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license for the applicable state and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as required by the property.
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and choose among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well under stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Clean and buff floors daily according to hotel standards.
  • Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
  • Clean public restrooms and ensure maintenance throughout the shift.
  • Assist guests with luggage in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, staff, and oneself.
  • Handle Lost and Found items according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Return all keys and assignment sheets at the end of each shift.
  • Complete and submit daily assignment checklists to the supervisor.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
