Job summary

Collared Martin Hospitality is seeking a House Attendant to maintain the hotel's public areas and assist with guest luggage and deliveries. You will help keep the pool area clean and assist housekeeping with stripping guest rooms and clearing hallways, ensuring a friendly, efficient guest experience.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, welcoming, and able to multitask across indoor and outdoor spaces, while adhering to safety guidelines and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments, including pool area.
• Role involves working in various hotel areas: public spaces, guest rooms, pool.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, pool, gym, fire pits and other public areas.
• Ensure all public areas are tidy, presentable, and free of hazards.
• Empty trash receptacles and replenish supplies as needed.
• Strip empty guest rooms and remove rubbish from hallways and closets.
• Deliver messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms promptly.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, pool, gym, fire pits and other public areas, to include outside of guest rooms and all public/indoor hallways in all buildings..
• Ensure all public areas are kept tidy, presentable, and free of hazards.
• Empty trash receptacles and replenish supplies as needed.
• Stock linen and housekeeping closets with supplies as needed.
• Strip empty guest rooms and remove rubbish from hallways and closets.
• Deliver messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms promptly.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
• Assist with guest transportation needs and valet parking services when required.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues efficiently.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items, including luggage.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Basic understanding of the English language (written and verbal).
