The House Attendant maintains the cleanliness and order of the hotel’s guest areas. Responsibilities include preparing rooms for housekeeping, managing soiled linen and trash, assisting with laundry, and ensuring linen and supplies are stocked. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional guest service and supporting the housekeeping team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare vacant rooms by stripping beds and removing leftover items before housekeeping staff enters
• Handle soiled linen and trash by collecting and transporting to disposal areas
• Manage waste and linen by delivering garbage to waste disposal and transporting linen to laundry
• Assist with laundry tasks such as washing, ironing, steaming, folding, and storing linens
• Stock linen supplies in laundry and linen closets, ensuring organization
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Prior experience preferred
• Understand company policies on work shifts, guest possessions, and privacy
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Adhere to company policies and code of conduct
• Excellent time and resource management with good attendance
• Maintain performance during high-stress situations
