Job summary

Hotel Covington is seeking House Attendants to deliver exceptional guest service within our housekeeping team. You will retrieve linens, stock guestrooms, and collaborate with the on-site laundry to ensure clean, ready rooms for guests.

Candidates should have a high school education or equivalent and at least 1 year of hotel services experience, with good reading, writing, and spoken English. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work varying shifts in a fast-paced hotel

Responsibilities

• Retrieve linens, trash, and supplies from guestrooms (15–35 rooms).

• Remove room service trays and carts to service areas.
• Use cleaners and equipment safely and correctly.

Job Requirements:

• Retrieve linens, trash, etc. from guestrooms. # of rooms range from 15-35.
• Stock guestrooms with clean linens and terry for the room attendants
• Work with in-house Laundry facility to remove and return soiled / clean linens.
• Removes room service trays, dishes, carts to service area landings
• Uses chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly

Additional Requirements:

• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in theEnglish language
• Must have a high school education or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hotel services environment

• Assist with responsibilities and duties in other departments and as assigned by management Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect thebusiness needs of the hotel

Physical Demand:

• Continuous standing 100% of the shift
• Inside 95% of the shift
• Lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying required up to 100 lbs. or more. Carts may be pushed/pulled up to 200 feet.
• Bending/kneeling required 70% of shift
• Mobile position required 100% of the time
