Job Description

The hourly rated positions available in the Ford Motor Company Customer Service Division are warehousing positions. Warehouse employees perform a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to, stock keeping (inventory maintenance), picking customer orders (locating and obtaining proper items in specified quantities), and preparing shipments of orders to customers using power or hand tools, hoists, or other equipment and machinery.

Temporary Full-Time employees receive a generous benefits package. They convert to full-time regular employees upon completing nine months of continuous service.

Rate of Pay and Benefits

• Starting wage rate at $21.00 per hour plus applicable shift premiums.

Responsibilities

• Work on any assigned schedule, change shifts periodically, work more than 8 hours per day and/or overtime while maintaining good attendance.
• Follow safety rules and procedures, perform manual labor, standing and walking much of the time, and handle parts and materials quickly and accurately.
• Use hand, power tools, or scanners to install parts on vehicles or locate and obtain parts for customer orders.
• Maneuver into, around, and about vehicles or components on an assembly line or warehouse.
• Learn, remember, and maintain pace of tasks, follow instructions, and distinguish various parts/components by identification number or code.
• Work in a team environment, promote safety, treat co-workers with dignity and respect, and accept instructions from leadership.

Qualifications

Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment, drug screen, physical, and background check are required. No interview is required. The drug screen panel does not include THC.
