Job Description: Warehouse Positions at Ford Motor Company

The hourly-rated positions available in the Ford Motor Company Customer Service Division are warehousing roles. Warehouse employees perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, stock keeping (inventory maintenance), picking customer orders (locating and obtaining items in specified quantities), and preparing shipments of orders to customers. Tasks may involve using power or hand tools, hoists, or other equipment and machinery.

Benefits and Compensation:

• Starting wage rate at $21.00 per hour plus applicable shift premiums.

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment, drug screen, physical, and background check (drug screen does not include THC). No interview is required.

Responsibilities:

• Willingness and ability to work on any assigned schedule, including shift changes, overtime, and more than 8 hours per day, with good attendance.
• Ability and willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Perform manual labor, standing and walking extensively, handling parts and materials quickly and accurately, using hand/power tools, scanners, and other equipment.
• Navigate around vehicles or components on assembly lines or in warehouses, performing stock keeping duties, which may involve reaching, twisting, bending, and operating equipment like PMHV or hilo.
• Learn and maintain the pace of job tasks after training, follow instructions, and perceive differences in details when inspecting parts or work quality.
• Work effectively in a team environment, promoting safety, respecting co-workers, and following leadership instructions.
