Hitachi Energy is seeking an Hourly Team Member for its Jefferson City, MO location. This role involves manufacturing single-phase and three-phase padmount distribution transformers.

Your responsibilities

• Perform steel fabrication, welding, internal electrical assembly, component marshalling, core coil assembly, coil winding, painting, cabinet assembly, final assembly, and repair tasks.
• Operate machinery and equipment used in transformer manufacturing and forklifts.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Your background

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
• Work well with team members and perform high-quality, safe work to meet section goals.
• Follow detailed work instructions.
• Prior manufacturing or welding experience is preferred.
• Successfully complete the post-offer pre-employment process.
• Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
