Job summary

Old Chicago Restaurants is seeking a reliable Hourly Shift Supervisor / Department Manager to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. This role acts as Manager-on-Duty, oversees opening and closing procedures, and helps drive guest satisfaction through attentive service and effective coaching.

Responsibilities include directing station flow, monitoring quality and safety standards, managing cash handling, and supporting inventory control while upholding company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1+ years of restaurant or hospitality experience; leadership or training experience preferred.
  • Certifications: Valid food handler or ServSafe manager certification where required.
  • Physical: Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours and lift up to 25-30 lbs.
