BelAir Cantina in Milwaukee is seeking an Hourly Supervisor to lead bar operations, ensure smooth closing, and drive guest satisfaction across all shifts.

The role emphasizes frontline leadership, inventory support, and event planning while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with policies. This position requires a Bartending License in Milwaukee County and offers a rich benefits package with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fully understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifics, guidelines, and training programs.
• Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly service at all times.
• Recommend additional training for employees and communicate corrective actions to the GM.
• Keep shifts staffed and complete cleaning projects; ensure equipment works.
• Assist GM/AGM with bar inventory and ordering needs.
• Assist planning and executing events; help grow the bar/venue concept.
• Maintain cleanliness to maximize productivity.
• Present weekly schedules on time; monitor labor and adjust.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Hourly Supervisor leads by example and ensures that the bar is closing and operating smoothly and to its fullest potential at all operating hours. On a daily basis the Hourly

Supervisor will ensure that all cleaning projects are completed and all bar operations are working properly.

Essential Functions:

1. Fully understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifics, guidelines, and training programs.

2. Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.

3. Recommend additional training for employees and communicate with GM any corrective action that needs to be taken.

4. Ensure that employees remain on task during shifts and cleaning projects are completed throughout the week and that all equipment is working correctly.

5. Assist GM and AGM with bar inventory, as well as communicating other ordering needs.

6. Assist GM and AGM in planning and executing events throughout the year, help with coming up with great ideas to help grow Garage and HiHat.

7. Help maintain cleanliness of the building and basement to ensure that productivity is at its peak.

8. Present GM with a weekly schedule on time with keeping labor and scheduling up to date. Watching labor every shift and making changes when necessary.

9. Ensure that security staff is always efficient and on task, communicating errors in training, tardiness, and issues with GM.

10. Hold Pre and post shift meetings with the security team (AGM and GM present when necessary) to ensure communication and shift smoothness.

Position Type & Expected Hours Worked:

1.The Hourly Supervisor will work a variety of Closing shifts as well as working Brunch and Mid shifts when needed and helping cover shifts when needed.

2.The Hourly Supervisor role is a non-exempt, 30+ hours per week position.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for up to 10 hours at a time, with brief time to sit intermittently. The employee must be able to lift or move products up to160 pounds.

Education & Experience:

1. One year of experience in a leadership role preferred

2. Bartending License required in Milwaukee County
