Purpose of Position:

Support the operation to deliver superior guest service by performing duties such as completing guest transactions, assisting with food preparation and/or cooking, and cleaning. Assist unit management with monitoring daily operations and lead employees in the absence of a unit or assistant manager. Perform unit opening and closing duties including cash management, inventory, stocking, and maintaining the unit's appearance.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure each guest receives superior service by providing a friendly environment, prompt recognition, and greeting of guests with a smile, following established service standards.
  2. Communicate, explain, and suggestively sell menu offerings, products, and promotions to guests.
  3. Complete cash handling duties with appropriate paperwork; process and present checks to guests and complete payment transactions.
  4. Cook and store food at required temperatures; label, date, and rotate all products according to company standards.
  5. Assist unit management with monitoring daily operations and lead employees in the absence of a unit or assistant manager.
  6. Perform unit opening and closing duties including cash management, inventory, stocking, and maintaining the unit's appearance.
  7. Adhere to and ensure all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed.
  8. Support training of associates to maintain unit standards, sales, and customer service.
  9. Ensure all areas of the unit are properly cleaned and maintained, and opening/closing side works are completed per checklists.
  10. Follow safe food handling and hygiene practices.
  11. Adhere to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment; report malfunctions immediately.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of customer service and supervisory experience or equivalent education, training, and experience. Must obtain alcohol awareness and/or ServSafe Food Safety certification.
