Hourly Leasing Consultant (Built-to-Rent Community)

We are seeking a dynamic Leasing Consultant to join our team at The Oaks at Indian Creek, a premier built-to-rent (BTR) community in Madison, AL. This role is perfect for a customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping residents find their perfect home. You’ll be the face of our community, leasing townhome style rentals while delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leasing & Sales
    • Guide prospects through the leasing process, including applications, screenings, and lease signings.
    • Collect feedback from prospects and keep track of the feedback and suggestions.
    • Promote the BTR lifestyle by organizing resident events (e.g., open houses, move-in gifts).
  2. Customer Service
    • Respond promptly to inquiries (phone, email, in-person) with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Build relationships with prospects and residents to foster long-term satisfaction.
    • Assist with marketing efforts (social media, community events, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years in leasing, sales, or hospitality (BTR experience a plus);
  • Familiarity with Madison/Huntsville, AL rental market or local demographics;
  • Ability to overcome objections and convert prospects into residents;
  • Understanding of fair housing laws and leasing regulations;
  • Ability to walk/tour homes for extended periods.
