The Endocrine Disruption and Chemical Biology Laboratory (EDC Lab) is recruiting a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in 2025. Our research bridges reproductive biology, toxicology, and sustainable chemistry to study the mechanisms by which environmental chemicals act as endocrine disruptors. Specifically, we combine chemical biology techniques with in vitro mouse models of the female reproductive system to study environmentally relevant mixtures of chemical toxicants.
The Laboratory Assistant will execute synthetic or analytical chemistry experiments, manage chemical ordering and inventory, and facilitate daily laboratory operations. As a member of the team, the Laboratory Assistant will perform experiments, analyze results, present locally and nationally, receive mentorship from the PI, and be part of an inclusive environment that supports creativity, professional development, and scientific discovery.
