Griswold Home Care for Blair County seeks experienced in-home caregivers for day, evening, and overnight shifts in Duncansville, PA. Wages are $16-$20 per hour plus incentives based on experience and client needs.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility support, and safe transportation. You’ll follow care plans and communicate changes promptly to the office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience caring for older adults in a home care or facility setting.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Notice changes in a client's condition, mood, or needs and communicate them appropriately

What You'll Do

As an in-home caregiver, you'll help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.

Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include:

• Companionship and meaningful engagement
• Personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Meal preparation

• Medication reminders
• Mobility and safety assistance
• Transportation to appointments, errands, or activities
• Following individualized care plans
• Observing and reporting changes in a client's needs

Schedule

We are currently seeking caregivers interested in daytime, evening, and overnight shifts.

Most shifts fall between:

8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Occasional overnight opportunities may also be available.

Requirements

Required:

• 2+ years of experience caring for older adults
• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Valid car insurance
• Ability to successfully complete required background and employment screenings
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently
• Three strong professional references

Preferred:

• Previous in-home caregiving experience
• Experience with personal care
• Experience working with clients with dementia or other age-related conditions
• Experience communicating with families and care teams
