Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable and Cashier Clerk to join our accounting team. Candidates should bring strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a similar accounts payable position preferred.
• Ability to meet strict time deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Birchstreet purchase orders and invoice reconciliation system.
• Process all regular and Food & Beverage invoices, check requests, and expense reports for the hotel.
• Verify daily cash drops and process daily cash deposits.

What will you be doing?

• Maintains Birchstreet purchase orders and invoice reconciliation system
• Processes all regular and Food & Beverage invoices, check requests, and expense reports for the hotel.
• Maintains all a/p files with regards to new vendors, expense reports, and check requests.
• Verify daily cash drops and process daily cash deposits
• Associate bank audits.
• Assign associate banks and maintain bank contracts.
• Stamps and codes all invoices, check requests, and expense reports for payment.

What you will bring to the role?

• Associates degree in business or accounting and/or at least 2 years of experience in a similar accounts payable position preferred.
• Meet strict time deadlines.
• Strong PC/typing skills.
• Strong accuracy with numbers and expense coding a must.
• Strong Computer literacy needed, extensive Excel knowledge and ability to understand and use other computer programs a must.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
