Hotel Valet Attendant - Hourly + Tips - Marriott Indianapolis

Job Details

• Compensation: $8-$10/hour plus $5-$10 tips
• Work Schedule: AM/PM shifts
• Benefits: Insurance options, 401k, and more (eligibility varies)

Responsibilities

1. Provide friendly, professional service to guests, greeting them and using their last names.
2. Park and retrieve vehicles safely, assist with luggage, and open doors.
3. Assist guests with directions, reservations, and amenities, and deliver messages or items as needed.
4. Explain parking rates, issue claim checks, and handle vehicle keys and tickets accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• 1+ month related experience or training
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to perform basic math and operate manual transmission (preferred)

Physical & Working Conditions

Work outdoors, often in extreme weather, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds, walking, and running. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
