Summary of Functions

Drives bus, van, car, or lightweight truck to transport guests, trainees, or company personnel along with product pick-up and delivery by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Resort and Casino Policies and Procedures.
  • Works as a team with other associates to maintain the best service standards available.
  • Comply with hotel safety and Loss Control Procedures.
  • Have knowledge of all hotel emergency procedures.
  • Maintain four star/four diamond service standards.
  • Drives vehicle to and from private or central loading areas to and from Northern Quest Resort and Casino or other destinations according to assigned schedule.
  • Transports guests and or team members to and from the airport or other locations as assigned.
  • Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle, also assist with guest luggage etc.
  • Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchair during trip.
  • Operates radio or similar device to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
  • Monitor the vehicles’ fuel lubricants and accessories.
  • Keeps records of trips and behaviors of passengers.
  • Fulfill any reasonable work requested by a Manager or Supervisor.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers and employees when performing job duties and conduct oneself in a professional and businesslike manner to reflect Northern Quest’s high standard of excellence.
  • Use proper interpersonal skills when dealing with customers and employees.
  • Share information with other departments to facilitate their successful performance.
  • Ensure guest confidentiality standards are followed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.
  • Ensure control/protection of company assets.

Experience
  • Experience in a four star/four diamond hotel preferred.

Education

Other Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Gaming License.
  • Valid State Driver’s License (Must be in possession while operating guest or tribal vehicles).
  • Will be able to obtain FBI Identity History Summary yearly.
  • Will be able to obtain Washington State Patrol criminal history report yearly.
  • Provide a Driver Abstract yearly.
  • Ability to meet the minimum standards of the Ground Transportation Operating Agreement with Northern Quest Resort and Casino and The Spokane International Airport as a Courtesy Vehicle Operator.
  • Must be able to be insured by the company insurance carrier.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License, Class A/B with Passenger Endorsement. (Must be in possession while operating an NQRC/Kalispel Tribal Vehicle).
  • Must be able to drive both an automatic and manual vehicle.
  • Knowledge of Spokane and vicinity roadways.
  • No moving violations or accidents on driving record.
  • Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
