Qualifications

• Professional appearance at all times.
• Team player willing to pitch in.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette.
• Knowledge of table settings, service ware and menu items.
• Ability to promote menu items and specials.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to operate POS systems and input orders accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explain specials and promotions to guests.
• Record and repeat guest orders for accuracy.
• Input orders into the POS system.
• Fetch and deliver orders to guests with condiments.
• Adhere to state, federal and corporate beverage service requirements.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Suggest desserts or specialty coffees as requested.
• Close out checks and complete POS procedures.
• Maintain attendance and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
