Job summary

AHC Hospitality is seeking a Security Officer for a full‑time, third‑shift role in Grand Rapids, MI. This position supports safety for guests and associates, while delivering courteous service and protecting hotel assets.

Responsibilities include running the Security department efficiently, reporting hazards, and adhering to SOPs. Lifts up to 50+ pounds, standing and walking required; weekend availability is expected. Employee meals and discounts apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for upwards of 8 hours.
• Dresses in proper uniform and presents professional appearance.
• Fire, Police or Security related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient operation of the Security department.
• Provide gracious hospitality to guests and associates.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures and standards.
• Identify and report safety hazards and security breaches.
• Respond to security incidents quickly and professionally.
• Maintain compliance with SOP/LSOP for security operations.
• Oversee key control systems and daily reports.
• Complete hazard inspections and daily patrols.
