Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts in Orlando, FL seeks a dedicated security leader to oversee hotel safety programs, perform rounds, and ensure vigilant protection of guests and staff. You will train teams, enforce SOPs, and respond to emergencies with composure and authority.

The role requires knowledge of security systems and strong communication skills, with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance across the property.

Qualifications

• Safety and security related courses are preferred.
• Experience in risk management within hospitality or related fields.
• Basic First Aid training is required.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Direct, monitor and assist in hotel security and safety programs.
• Tour hotel complex, conduct rounds and inspections for safety.
• Understand emergency procedures (Fire, Medical, Weather, Bomb Threat).
• Maintain security systems knowledge (CCTV, Radio, Key Card, Fire Panel).
• Train managers and associates on emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure security.
• Participate in investigations and manage incidents.
• Assist in maintaining security department budget and controls.
