Lodging Dynamics is seeking a Security Officer to protect hotel guests, employees, and property on a 24/7 basis. The role involves patrolling all hotel areas, monitoring cameras, escorting people, and maintaining orderly conditions during events and high occupancy.

The position requires high school education, strong interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of the local area, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or up to one month related experience or training.
• Alcohol awareness certification; security training permits/certification as required depending on the area.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of the city and surrounding area; ability to reference unknown city information quickly.

Responsibilities

• Patrol hotel grounds, parking lots, lobbies, public areas and hallways to provide security and observe for suspicious activity.
• Escort guests and staff to and from the hotel and remove belligerent individuals when necessary.
• Maintain order during high occupancy or events and report incidents to supervisors in real time.
• Respond to emergencies, participate in fire alarm procedures, and assist with safety issues as needed.
• Provide directions to guests and offer guest services while presenting a professional image.
• Occasionally assist with transporting luggage and items within the hotel, as needed.
