Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The Intercontinental St. Paul Riverfront hotel, located above the Mississippi in downtown Saint Paul, offers a luxurious stay and a vibrant work environment. We are seeking a Sales and Catering Coordinator to support our sales team by distributing leads, providing administrative support, and facilitating group and event bookings. This role is ideal for someone with Front Desk or Guest Services experience looking to advance in hospitality management.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist guests with inquiries and requests
  • Manage group functions including room blocks, billing, and rooming lists
  • Prepare and update BEOs and reports for events
  • Support sales activities such as creating group resumes and running reports
  • Communicate effectively with sales, front desk, and operational teams

Qualifications:

  • Experience with OPERA PMS and Delphi is required; guest-facing hotel operations experience preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures
  • Strong multi-tasking and scheduling skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Ability to drive to outside sales calls

Physical Environment:

  • Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods
  • Mobility for client service and site inspections
  • Climbing stairs and driving for sales calls
