Overview

Under the direct supervision of the Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor, this role involves transferring clean and dirty linens and trash to and from laundry and room attendants' carts. Assists with stocking items within the hotel and ensures the cleanliness of guest rooms, banquet rooms, and common areas. Responsibilities include moving furniture, boxes, restocking shelves, and trash removal.

This position description may not include all duties assigned to this role.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: Six months experience in customer service or hospitality.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and obtain/maintain Osage Nation gaming license.
• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Osage, Native American, and Veteran preferences apply.
• Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

Department Operations:

• Replenish supplies like linens, bathroom amenities, and glasses.
• Move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets.
• Vacuum hallways, elevators, and guest rooms.
• Dust walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and sills.
• Make guest room deliveries and clean rooms to property standards.
• Empty carts and wastebaskets, and report repairs needed.
• Replace bulbs and transfer linens and carts as needed.
• Maintain banquet areas and outdoor trash areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Guest Service:

• Provide courteous and professional service to all guests.
• Communicate effectively with staff and guests, maintaining a positive attitude.

Communication & Compliance:

• Stay informed through company communications.
• Explain decisions and share information with staff.
• Maintain good relationships and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including gaming, safety, and privacy laws.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety procedures.
• Perform tasks under supervision, follow instructions, and learn cleaning methods.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Stand, walk, sit, and handle objects; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work may involve exposure to smoke, noise, and sometimes blood or bodily fluids.
• Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and irregular hours.
