Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton in Houston seeks a House Attendant to maintain clean, welcoming public areas including the lobby, meeting spaces, and restrooms. You will perform deep cleaning and assist with setting up lobby functions and guest-room item deliveries on request.

Responsibilities include safe work practices, luggage assistance at check-in/out, Lost and Found handling, and completing daily checklists. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with hotel experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe, efficient hotel operations.
• Clean/ Buff floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in public areas and shampoo furniture as needed.
• Clean public restrooms and ensure regular maintenance throughout the shift.
• Provide luggage assistance at check-in/out in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Practice safe work habits to ensure guest, colleague, and self safety.
• Handle Lost and Found items per Avion Hospitality standards.
• Turn in keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office at shift end.
• Complete daily assignment check list and submit to supervisor.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
