Job summary

Carowinds is seeking a Spring Hill 2026 Property Maintenance Technician to maintain hotel building, equipment, and guest rooms in good working order. Public areas must be kept free of blemishes, with preventive inspections and routine repairs performed as needed.

The role requires at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and vocational training in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical training in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry or related work preferred.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains hotel building and equipment and ensures guest-rooms are in working order and public areas are clean and maintained.
• Keeps public areas in good repair and mechanically sound.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and takes corrective action.
• Performs routine painting, plumbing, electrical work and basic repairs on hotel equipment.
• Communicates status of repairs, inventory levels and guest concerns to supervisor.
• Follows department procedures and completes forms and paperwork.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when interacting with guests.
