Job summary

Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a professional painter to maintain public areas and guest spaces in a historic luxury resort. You will brush, roll and spray surfaces, patch and repair textures, and work with stains, lacquers, varnishes, epoxy and caulk.

The role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and overtime, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather. You will support other engineers and interact with guests to ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a commercial painter.
• Ability to brush, roll, spray and work on various textures.
• Patching, floating and repairing damaged surfaces.
• Experience with stains, lacquers, varnishes and epoxy.
• Ability to apply caulk.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Interact with hotel guests professionally.
• Physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds; work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all public areas, guest rooms, meeting rooms and corridors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms as per Omni CARE program.
• Maintain stock/inventory of painting supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist guests by guiding them to locations when needed.
• Understand Omni fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuations.
• Be familiar with Omni systems and procedures.
• Respond to maintenance requests.
• Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.
• Keep work areas clean.
