Job summary

Hilton Myrtle Beach is seeking a Painter to maintain and repair surfaces across the hotel facilities, including walls, furniture, rooms and equipment. This full-time, year-round role at Hilton Myrtle Beach requires a flexible schedule with holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities.
• Prepare and paint surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray-guns; measure surfaces, apply spackle and plaster, mix paint, match colors.
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings.
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering.
• Maintains inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
• Reports major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to the superiors for further action.
