Job summary

Hilton Myrtle Beach is seeking a professional Painter to paint, maintain and repair surfaces of the building, furniture, rooms and equipment throughout the hotel. The role supports guest satisfaction and financial profitability by ensuring high-quality finishes and timely upkeep.

Responsibilities include surface preparation, painting with brushes, rollers or spray guns, and installation or repair of wall coverings.

Qualifications

• Experience painting, maintaining and repairing surfaces.
• Ability to prepare surfaces, mix paint, and apply with brushes, rollers or spray guns.
• Knowledge of wallpaper, wall coverings and caulking maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the hotel and facilities.
• Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns.
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings.
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering.
• Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
• Reports major repairs and items that cannot be repaired to the superiors for further action.
