Qualifications

• Experience working as a painter or carpenter.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc).
• Engaging and welcoming personality
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
• Excellent communication skills
• Available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• 2–5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building, facility and soft goods
• Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to surfaces in hotel and meeting spaces
• Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs
• Makes repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and windows, carpeting, etc.
• Participates in the hotel/resorts preventive maintenance program
• Keeps records as required by policy and submits reports/logs in a timely manner
