Job summary

JW Marriott Anaheim Resort, managed by HEI Hotels and Resorts, seeks a responsible Operations Supervisor to uphold guest service standards and HEI standards of product and service.

You will support department managers, conduct staff meetings, train team members, and ensure payroll accuracy while maintaining everyday operations near Disneyland. Strong PMS and cash-handling skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years hotel experience preferred.
• Proficient with PMS system and computer literacy.
• Able to handle cash and credit transactions.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Thorough knowledge of hotel operations.
• Able to deal with customers with diplomacy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of local area attractions and transportation.
• Stand and walk 4+ hours.
• Ability to adapt communication to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist each department to work efficiently while ensuring brand standards are met.
• Conduct daily and monthly staff meetings, inspect work, provide guidance to correct deficiencies.
• Assist department managers to interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and discipline when needed.
• Help arrange staff schedules and payroll records, ensure on-time pay.
• Implement company and franchise programs.
• Track guest satisfaction surveys and maximize usage of the guest response system.
• Interact positively with customers and resolve problems to maintain satisfaction.
• Assist in daily management of room inventory to optimize revenues and guest expectations.
• Record and review product inventories.
• Provide clear direction to staff in writing and speech.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
