Description
Summary: As the Hotel Supervisor, your responsibilities include supervising, coordinating, and directing daily activities of the Front Desk, VIP Services, Rooms Control, Bell/Baggage, and Valet. Additionally, you provide support to division leadership in the administration of each department, aiding in maximizing guest satisfaction and team member productivity.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Train and supervise team members on their assigned shifts
- Supervise the operation of VIP Services, Rooms Control, Bell/Baggage, and Valet to ensure efficiency and high-quality service to guests
- Maintain effective controls to ensure adherence to department guidelines and recommend changes to maximize service, efficiency, and security of company funds
- Investigate and correct shortages and errors
- Collaborate with hotel leadership on promotions, special events, and sales groups to maximize room and block rate utilization
- Recommend room rate adjustments as required
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints and concerns, following up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain credit policies and take appropriate actions for overdue accounts or collection issues
- Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls, policies, and regulations such as Title 31
- Provide outstanding guest service promptly, meeting company standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience or transferable skills in a similar environment preferred
- Previous Front Desk or VIP Services experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of LMS preferred
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both in groups and one-on-one
- Experience delivering high-level guest service
- Proficiency with computer systems
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Ability to obtain and maintain required work cards and verify right to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements
- Occasional pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs
- Occasional lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs at various levels
